TCX Lady Smoke WP: The Everyday Boot Designed for Motorcycling

How many of us love to wear boots or ankle boots in our everyday life? Personally, especially in the fall/winter season, I can’t do without them. They’re comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, and practical for rainy days.

The same can be said for the TCX Lady Smoke Waterproof boots. I’ve tested them, and I can tell you that I’ve worn them casually as if they were regular ankle boots! If it weren’t for the protective features, they wouldn’t even look like technical boots. They fit like regular shoes in your size and can be adjusted with laces. Like any leather boot, they are initially stiff and slightly tight, but they soften as you wear them, increasing foot comfort. What I appreciated so much, in addition to the aesthetics (because, in my opinion, they look fantastic), is the treaded rubber sole! It has excellent grip on asphalt and even on gravel. As we know, during parking or typical stationary maneuvers, your foot can easily slip away, but these TCX Lady Smoke WP boots with an amphibian style have extraordinary grip. Plus, they have a 3 cm heel that is useful and helps with height. During the initial rides, depending on your motorcycle model and pedal type, you might need to “get used to” the mini-heel. For example, in my case, having a very thin motorcycle pedal and always riding with flat-soled shoes or boots, it took a moment to “find my footing.” But no worries, a few kilometers were enough to feel comfortable again.

Inadvertently, my outings are almost always in the rain, but these boots apparently bring good luck and have always been kissed by the sun. I will, in fact, appreciate them even better on cooler days since, being made of full-grain leather, they breathe less, especially in the height of summer. However, if desired, they can be comfortably worn year-round. The Lady Smoke ankle boots are waterproof. Not having encountered rainstorms, I still wanted to test if they are truly waterproof, so I wore them in the shower. I confirm: they are water-resistant.
