Women’s glove Belfast 2.0 black: a timeless classic

Veiled sun, clear air, I woke up with the song ‘It’s my Life’ by Talk Talk in my head, which fits us perfectly today.
Jacket, helmet, strictly black IXS Belfast 2.0 Lady leather gloves, I turn the key and off we go. There are roads that by now my bike already knows, as if it had a brain of its own, it always points north, towards hills and mountains, towards curves of all kinds.
This was the mood today when I tried on the IXS Belfast 2.0 Lady gloves in goatskin leather, soft but tough. Perfect for the spring/summer season thanks to the ventilation holes in almost the entire surface. The inside has a soft and comfortable lining made of 100% polyester.
The focus on safety is provided by the double-layered leather and padding reinforcements on the palm and the soft leather-covered Hidden Impacton® knuckle protection (also on the fingers). Accordion leather inserts facilitate finger and wrist movements. The closure is Velcro-adjustable with a vintage-look button. Approved to EN 13594:2015.
Perfect for classic or retro motorbikes but not disfiguring on other models, the IXS Belfast 2.0 Lady gloves have a very neat look when you look in detail. The perforated goatskin leather, double transverse stitching, reinforcements between the thumb and forefinger and on the palm give the feeling of safety but also durability.
The modern touch given by the cuff button covered by the leather and touch screen compatible index and thumbs (which I found very useful having my smartphone on the handlebars).
Very easy to wear, soft on the inside, even after hours of riding I felt them comfortable. The size of the fingers is just as right as the palm, which means it’s a model specifically for women.
In conclusion I can say that these IXS Belfast 2.0 Lady have fully satisfied me, both in terms of aesthetics and practicality.
