Comfortable and practical, TCX Ikasu sneakers offer optimal protection and comfort for those who ride a motorcycle every day. The reflective surface provides a refined look that stands out, without forgetting all the details that make these shoes excellent for both riding and walking.
I liked these Ikasu sneakers from the first glance. Not just for their shape, but also for the reflective effect that is visible both during the day and in low light conditions. Thanks to the T-DRY membrane, they are waterproof and they also have reinforcements on the ankles with D30® inserts, as well as protection on toe and heel. TCX pays special attention to the sole, as in other models in the range, by adding the Zplate® insert made of molded polymer. This insert offers transverse rigidity and longitudinal flexibility, allowing the shoe to follow all the natural movements of the foot, whether on the bike or during walking, while also providing protection against shoe crushing in case of impact.
The TCX Ikasu sneakers are CE certified according to EN 13634:2017.
The model doesn’t feature laces, but the closure is ensured by an elastic zipper that provides a snug fit. Comfort is guaranteed, especially through TCX’s special protocol designed to combine a perfect fit for the female foot with maximum safety and protection of sensitive areas of the foot.
Attention has also been given to the slip-resistant Groundtrax® sole, which is durable and wear-resistant.
The Ortholite® insole with durable padding and high breathability is very comfortable as soon as the sneaker is worn and during use.
I’ve had the opportunity to use the TCX Ikasu sneakers for a few months and I can say I’m satisfied. I ride a naked bike and I often like to stop and explore the places I go. I can confirm that these shoes are extremely comfortable both for walking and riding. The upper part has the right sensitivity for shifting gears, and even after many kilometers, there is no sign of wear.
Easy to put on, they feel tailor-made for my feet. The size fits what I use for everyday shoes; I wear size 38 and they fit perfectly.
I’ve already mentioned the reflective material, but I want to emphasize that it adds that extra touch of originality, like the golden inserts.
Interesting modifications have been made to TCX sneaker soles over the years, and now they have improved grip and are less rigid, while still maintaining a good level of protection.
In conclusion: this model is practical for those who use a motorcycle or scooter every day. It combines aesthetics (it doesn’t look like technical footwear at all) with protection. The insole provides excellent comfort even for walking, and the WP membrane allows you to use them even in unstable weather conditions.
They aren’t travel shoes; in some cases, I always recommend more protective boots (for example, I personally like Lady Freyja or Lady Tourer), but for everyday use, I can only suggest giving them a try.
