The details that make the difference

The scratch-resistant anti-fog visor is flip-up and offers a wide side view. It can also be easily removed to wear a same-brand or universal goggle.
The Bell MX-9 Adventure helmet’s faceplate is adjustable and can also be removed for a more aerodynamic, urban version.
The interior is removable and washable.

MIPS®: the safety device

Multi-density EPS foam and carbon shell construction are an established reality, but recently new MIPS technology has taken helmets to a higher level of safety.
This technology focuses on rotational force over direct impact tests used by government agencies and independent regulators.
By applying a thin layer of movable plastic (weighs between 25 and 45 grams) between the comfort padding and EPS foam, MIPS allows small rotational movements of the head inside the helmet during a crash.

Velocity Flow Ventilation

The ventilation system of this model is called Velocity Flow Ventilation. Using advanced flow dynamics models, wind tunnel testing and trials with riders, Bell engineers have created a natural flow that literally sucks air through the internal ventilation system, keeping the rider cool and dry. By opening or closing the FlowAdjust™ vents, the desired amount of airflow can be adjusted to suit conditions.
