Women’s educational motorcycle tours in 2024 with Guida Sicura Urbana

The collaboration between MissBiker and Guida Sicura Urbana is renewed. Claudio Conte’s school based in Milan is offering two exclusive women’s educational tours dedicated to improving riding techniques without forgetting the fun.

For whom
The tours are dedicated exclusively to motorcyclists with their own motorbikes (no hire).

Tour level: intermediate

Approved technical clothing, motorbike in good standing with insurance and coupons, valid driving licence required.

Minimum cylinder capacity: 300cc

Minimum number of participants: 3
Maximum number of participants: 10

Each MissBiker will be put in individual intercom connection with the instructor for 30 minutes several times during the ride.
There is one instructor for every 5 participants. (6 participants = 2 instructors)

Each instructor will be provided with a tyre repair kit and first aid kit

Participants will be covered by liability and accident insurance

Larian Educational Tour

Meeting at a location yet to be defined in Milan. After a short theory lesson we will set off for Lecco. We will continue to Pian dei Resinelli along the old municipal road.

Short hike on foot to reach the suspended footbridge in the Valentino Park, with a panoramic view of Lake Como.

Return to Pian dei Resinelli where we will have a light lunch based on typical products in a local mountain hut.

After lunch we will move on to Varenna. Here too we will take a short walk through the village and along the Lovers’ Promenade.

Back in the saddle we will return to Milan via Lecco where we can stop for a delicious ice cream.

Curves, hairpin bends, panoramas, thrills and some vertigo will be guaranteed.

Educational Tour of the Langhe

Sunday 1 September 2024

Meeting point at a motorway service station on the Milan-Alessandria road with destination Barolo.

We will continue on to Alba, passing through gentle hills planted with vines, passing enchanting and sly old villages.

We will pass the castle of Grinzane Cavour before stopping for lunch at the Osteria Solidale with typical Piedmontese dishes served by its friendly and professional waiters with disabilities.

We will continue on to Barbaresco via secondary roads cutting through the hillsides with their intense scent of grapes.

We will stop, for a moment that will take us a little back in time, at the giant swing that seems to be suspended in the hills.

We will end the tour at a local winery in the vicinity of Asti for a quick tasting of local wines, including the nominated Roero.

Here too, curves, hairpin bends, views to fill the eyes, flavours and scents will be guaranteed.

GUIDA SICURA URBANA

Guida Sicura Urbana (Urban Safe Driving) is a project desired by Claudio Conte, President of the non-profit association Progetto Sicuri in Strada (Safe on the Road Project), instructor training manager, former ITGM Federale (Federal ITGM) instructor, former director of motorbike races on behalf of ACSI MOTO, former Federal Route Commissioner, tester for Central Italy Motorcycle Tours and active member of the Italian Motorcycle Coordination.

After years of collaborating with Motoclubs in the realisation of traditional Safe Motorcycle Driving Courses, he was born in 2010 with the aim of spreading safe motorcycling with a new, innovative and simple approach, with the intent of making up for the chronic lack of driving courses.
