Xpd Moto-1: motorbike sneakers with Michelin® soles

A motorbike sneaker that is so trendy that it looks like an everyday shoe? Xpd dedicates the Moto-1 model to those who love sportiness but don’t want to give up safety in the saddle.
Very sporty, with contrasting colours, technical fabric and leather upper with mesh side inserts. Cool but protective and, above all, equipped with the Michelin® sole in high-grip dual-density vulcanised rubber. Nothing is missing from this model, not even the plastic heel support H.S.S. (Heel Support System), the leather protection for the gear shift pedal, and the padded collar for greater comfort. The fastening is with laces that can be stored in a special front pocket with Velcro fastening.
The inner lining is made of breathable mesh material. As far as safety is concerned, the Xpd cannot fail to feature moulded and injected TPU ankle protectors, reinforced toe and heel areas, and memory padding. For total comfort the insole is shaped and ergonomic in nylon with Soft D.F.A. (Differentiated Flexibility Area) while the Ortholite® footbed is shock-absorbing, light and breathable.
CE EN 13634:2017 certified Level 1 upper abrasion resistance and Level 1 upper cut resistance.
Thanks to JV International – worldwide licensee in the design, development, production and marketing of Michelin® soles – the tyre brand also enters the Xpd world.
The challenge met by Michelin and JV International was to create soles that guarantee good looks, combined with grip on the footpegs and asphalt and, of course, excellent levels of protection for the feet.
Comfortable, practical to wear, and cool enough to cope with the period most populated by motorcyclists, these Xpd Moto-1s look like ‘simple’ non-bike sports trainers. Soft from the first use, they can accommodate laces in a special pocket to prevent them from snagging. The sole is excellent: plenty of grip both on the footpegs and on the ground.
On the bike they are protective, they bandage the ankle area well and the comfort is considerable thanks to the padding and footbed.
Small detail that for us motorcyclists is not bad: a 2 centimetre sole that is always needed!
Eye-catching in both the black/white and grey/blue/black models, they are perfect for those who like to stand out in the saddle but also want protection, sportiness and lightness.
